Good afternoon, Rocket families!
This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools, where our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential while focusing on learning, safety, partnerships with our community, and fiscal responsibility. We are at the final countdown for the 2022-23 school year! It has been a fantastic year! As we move into the summer schedule, I will do one calls as needed versus every week. As we get closer to the 2023-24 school year starting, I will move back to weekly calls. Go ahead and mark your calendars for the first day of school, which is Tuesday, August 22nd. Open House is scheduled for Monday, August 21st, from 4-6pm. You can find the new school calendar on our website.
Congratulations to our seniors who are graduating TODAY at 2pm in the high school gym! We are so proud of them and cannot wait to see what the future holds for each student!
Jr/Sr High students will be taking exams this week. Elementary students will have end of the year award ceremonies on the last day of school with the following times:
8:10 3rd grade
9:00 4th grade
10:00 2nd grade
11:00 5th grade
12:15 1st grade
1:30 Kindergarten
Remember that our last day with students is this Wednesday, May 24th! Don’t forget that open enrollment applications are due by June 1st.
The 2023 yearbooks are on sale with an early purchase discount right now! The store closes at the end of June. Look for the link on our website under the news section. 2022 yearbooks are on delay; watch for updates soon! If you have a preschool age student, be sure to get them registered as soon as possible. Information and applications are available on our website.
