Good afternoon, Rocket families!
This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools, where our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential while focusing on learning, safety, partnerships with our community, and fiscal responsibility.
November is flying by! I sure hope you had a wonderful time with your family and friends! We are thankful to welcome our students back to school tomorrow!
We have a full week of events again this week! On Monday, jr. high boys’ basketball plays at Perry, and jr. high girls’ basketball plays at home against Perry. On Tuesday, bowling will compete at Cooper’s Bowl against Crestline, and high school girls’ basketball will play at home against Vanlue. Bowling will compete against Elgin at Cooper’s Bowl, and the FFA Greenhand Initiation will take place at Elgin on Wednesday. High school girls’ basketball will play Buckeye Central at home on Thursday. On Saturday, the high school girls’ and boys’ basketball teams will play at Delaware Christian. The Ridgedale Lego Robotics will compete at the First Lego League Challenge Qualifier on Saturday as well. The competition will be held at PAST Innovation Lab, 1003 Kinnear Rd, Columbus. Did you know that we have an electric vehicle charging station? This is located on the south side of the property near the playground. This project was fully funded by Mid-Ohio Energy Cooperative! Come check it out! While you are there, take another look at our playground and new fencing around the back of the playground. This project was fully funded by grant money Grand Prairie Township received. We are grateful for such strong partnerships and support!
If you are looking for a part-time job that provides flexibility and allows you to make a difference in our community, consider becoming a substitute in our schools!
