This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools, where our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential while focusing on learning, safety, partnerships with our community, and fiscal responsibility.
We invite you to attend our board meeting tomorrow, Monday, April 15 at 5:30pm where we will have a presentation about safety measures on our campus. We will be holding this meeting in the lab at the jr./sr high. Varsity baseball plays at Hardin Northern, and jr. high track competes at North Baltimore tomorrow as well. Jr. high softball and baseball will play every day this week due to regularly scheduled games as well as make up games. They play at Lincoln Park. We kick off Ohio State Testing on Tuesday and Wednesday for grades 3 and up! Please be sure your child gets plenty of sleep, eats breakfast at home or school, and arrives at school on time with their charged chromebook. Please check the Google Calendar for grade specific tests each day. On Tuesday, varsity softball and baseball play at home against North Baltimore. On Thursday, jr. high track competes at Ada. Friday marks mid-terms for the 4th quarter, but remember you can check your child’s grades at any time on PowerSchool. Also, on Friday, varsity softball and baseball compete at Buckeye Central. Saturday is a full day with jr. high track at Lima Perry, high school track at Danville, varsity softball at Northmor for a double header, and varsity baseball at home against Pleasant.

We are hiring! We have full time positions teaching positions for an intervention specialist, a foreign language teacher, and an integrated science teacher, and we will be setting up interviews for our school nurse very soon. Or, consider becoming a substitute in our schools! You can join our team as a substitute aide, teacher, cafeteria worker, custodian, secretary, and/or bus driver.
