Good Afternoon, Rocket Families!🚀
This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools. This week, we will focus on the competency of critical thinking from our Portrait of a Rocket.
🔍Critical thinking means using your brain like a detective. It’s when you don’t just accept everything you hear or see right away. Instead, you ask questions, look for evidence, consider different viewpoints, and make decisions based on what you discover. Critical thinkers are curious problem solvers who dig deeper and understand the “why” and “how” behind things.
🎉We had a fantastic fall sports season! We are so proud of all of our teams, but we want to give a special shout out to our football team who made it to the playoffs for the first time in over 20 years! Additionally, Brogan Weston ran in the state cross country meet where he finished 13th and received all Ohio recognition! We are looking forward to successful winter seasons!

Mrs. Curren and Mrs. Thrush’s classes will be attending Safety City this week.
📣On Monday, the NWCC Fall banquet takes place for specific athletes.
🎭🎤🎶On Tuesday, musical auditions take place, and 🏀high school girls’ basketball has a scrimmage at home.
📢On Thursday, there is a mandatory OHSAA Parent/Guardian meeting for those with winter athletes. Winter sports pictures will be taken during the day as well.
🏀On Saturday, high school boys’ basketball has a scrimmage at home.
