This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools. As part of our commitment to college and career readiness, did you know that students can take courses not only at colleges like MTC and OSUM, but also through Modern States? These free online classes are taught by professors from world-class universities and cover the same material found in freshman-level college courses.
Students who complete a Modern States course can take the corresponding College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exam…at no cost. CLEP exams are accepted for credit by nearly 3,000 colleges and universities nationwide. Learners can work at their own pace, using the learning style that suits them best. All required course materials, including digital textbooks and assessment resources, are also completely free.
We’re proud that Ridgedale is a CLEP testing center, making this opportunity even more accessible for our students!

🏀On Monday, freshmen, JV, and varsity boys’ basketball plays at Worthington Christian, high school girls’ basketball plays at Mansfield Christian, jr. high boys’ basketball plays at home against Waynesfield Goshen, and jr. high girls’ basketball plays at Waynesfield Goshen.
🎳On Tuesday, high school bowling competes at Hillcrest Lanes.
🏀On Wednesday, high school boys’ basketball plays at Mt. Gilead. Jr. High and Senior High PBIS award winners will be attending a Toledo Walleyes game during the day as well.
🏀On Thursday, high school girls’ basketball play at home against Waynesfield Goshen.
🎳On Friday, bowling competes at the NWCC Tournament in Findlay. This was rescheduled from last week.
🤼🥜On Saturday, high school wrestling competes in Findlay. You can also stop by the Peanut Push in downtown Marion.
