Rocket Radar 1-18-26

Good Afternoon, Rocket Families!🚀

This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools, where our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential through our cornerstones of learning, safety, community partnerships, and fiscal responsibility.

💙As part of our safety cornerstone, we have formalized a district Wellness Team, which includes our school social worker, school counselor, home–to–school liaison, and school nurse. They have already started sending out helpful tips and resources, and these will continue to be focused on seasonal illnesses and preventions, emotional wellness, academic wellness and readiness, safety, healthy habits, life skills, family and community supports, and more! These will be sent through ParentSquare, and we encourage families to review them regularly!

📚Under our learning cornerstone, it’s important to remember that we are well into our third nine weeks, which is a great time to refocus on what matters most. This quarter is where momentum counts. Strong habits, consistent effort, and daily engagement now set the stage for success for the rest of the year.

🕒Attendance is key. Every day in school gives students the chance to learn, ask questions, and build the skills they need for graduation, postsecondary opportunities, and future careers. When students are present, they stay connected, supported, and ready to grow. Let’s make this third quarter our strongest yet! Keep in mind you can check your child’s grades right now and at any time on PowerSchool.

✅Please check out all events on the district Google calendar on our website or on the calendar on your ParentSquare app, and see below for events this week.
