This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools, where our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential through our cornerstones of learning, safety, community partnerships, and fiscal responsibility.
🎉As you may have seen on ParentSquare and social media, Ridgedale Local Schools is excited to host our 3rd Annual Family Appreciation Night, but this year, we are celebrating on two nights…Monday, February 9, 2026, and Friday, February 13, 2026. These evenings are another way of saying thank you to our families for your continued partnership and support of our students and schools.
🎉On Monday, our original plan was to be set up at the high school girls’ basketball as we celebrate Senior Night. Because we are hosting 8th grade girls’ NWCC tournament play in the high school gym and 7th and 8th grade boys’ NWCC tournament play in the elementary gym, our administrative team will now be set up in both gym lobbies to connect with even more families!
🎉On Friday, as we celebrate Senior Night for high school boys’ basketball, we will be set up in both the upstairs and downstairs lobbies at the high school.
🎉Families are encouraged to stop by, visit with our administrative team, and learn more about our K–12 Career Programming, including College Credit Plus, our six Career Technical Education pathways, career exploration opportunities, and Fueled Up Fridays. As a small token of our appreciation, each family may choose one free Ridgedale item while supplies last.

✅Don’t forget there is no school for students this Friday, February 13, as our staff members engage in professional development. Additionally, there is no school on Monday, February 16, in honor of Presidents’ Day. Enjoy the long weekend!

🏀On Monday, 7th and 8th grade boys’ basketball teams are in tournament play at the elementary gym, 8th grade girls’ basketball is in tournament play at the high school gym, and high school girls’ take on Calvary Christian as we celebrate Senior Night. Family Appreciation Night will occur at all games.
🏀On Tuesday, high school boys’ basketball plays at home against Danville.
♥️🚌🏀On Thursday, grades 3-5 will participate in Jump Rope for the Heart, the kindergarteners have a field trip to the Palace, and high school girls’ basketball plays at Cory Rawson.
🏀On Friday, there is no school for students due to staff professional development, and high school boys’ basketball plays at home against Cory Rawson as we celebrate Senior Night and Family Appreciation.
🤼🏀On Saturday, high school wrestling is at Springfield, and high school girls’ basketball plays at Northmor.
