This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools, where our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential through our cornerstones of learning, safety, community partnerships, and fiscal responsibility.
🚀Ohio State Testing finishes this week. Students in grades 3-8 along with Algebra I and Geometry will test on Tuesday and Wednesday. Once again, please make sure students are on time⏰, rested😴, and fueled up🍎 so they are focused and engaged.
Continue to check your child’s grades on PowerSchool and ensure they finish strong!
We have great news to share! The air conditioning is now up and running at the junior/senior high school. This has been a long-awaited project, and we are incredibly grateful to see it completed.
In addition, if you’ve driven past the school recently, you may have noticed progress on our fencing project. This work will not only complete the fencing around the playground, but will also include the installation of gates across the drive near the playground to further enhance student safety.
We are proud to share that this project is being funded through a safety grant, allowing us to continue improving our facilities while prioritizing the well-being of our students.

🚀On Monday, the county National Honor Society ceremony will take place at River Valley.
📝⚾🥎🏃♂️🏃♀️On Tuesday, students in grades 3-8 as well as Algebra I and Geometry will take part one of their OST. High school baseball and softball teams play at Perry, and high school track competes at Riverdale.
📝🏃♂️🏃♀️On Wednesday, students in grades 3-8 as well as Algebra I and Geometry will take part two of their OST. The jr. high Marion County track meet will take place at home.
🏃♂️🏃♀️⚾🌽On Thursday, jr. high school track competes at Riverside, and high school baseball plays at home against Colonel Crawford. FFA students will also head to the state convention through Friday.
🏃♂️🏃♀️🎨On Friday, high school track competes at the Harding Invite. We also invite you to our annual Ridgedale on Display! It promises to be a wonderful time as we celebrate the creativity of our students!
⚾🥎On Saturday, high school baseball and softball teams play at home.
