This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools, where our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential through our cornerstones of learning, safety, community partnerships, and fiscal responsibility.
⚠️If you have been by the campus, you will see that we are in the process of utilizing preschool safety grant funding to enhance safety measures on campus by completing fencing around the remainder of the playground and installing new gates across the driveway by the playground.
⚠️These improvements are designed to better protect students by creating a more secure and controlled environment during the school day. The added fencing ensures that students can play safely within designated areas, while the driveway gates help limit vehicle access during key times.
⚠️We recognize that these changes may take some adjustment for families and visitors, but emphasize that student safety remains the top priority. Our district remains committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where all students can learn and grow. Thank you for your patience and flexibility! Please continue to drive slowly and cautiously on our campus!

⚾🥎On Monday, high school baseball and softball teams play at home Elgin as we honor our seniors.
🎶On Tuesday, Ridgedale will host the Harry Alexander Music Festival.
🏃♂️🏃♀️On Wednesday, high school track will compete at the county track meet at River Valley.
⚾🥎On Thursday, high school baseball and softball teams play at Ridgemont, and students in grades K-2 will participate in field day during the day.
⚾🥎On Friday, high school baseball and softball teams play at Perry, and students in grades 3-5 will participate in field day during the day.
🏃♂️🏃♀️⚾🕺💃On Saturday, high school track competes at the Mt. Gilead Invite, and high school baseball plays at Riverdale. Prom will take place in the evening at the high school.
