Good Afternoon, Rocket Families!
This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools.
It’s the last week of school, and our final weekly Rocket Radar of the 2025-26 school year is coming out a day early! You may be wondering why…and that’s because tomorrow, Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM, we will celebrate graduation!🎓
🎓All are welcome to join us for this special and memorable occasion as we honor and say farewell to the Ridgedale Class of 2026. This group of seniors has been nothing short of amazing, and we are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished throughout their journey at Ridgedale.
🚀At Ridgedale, our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential through learning, safety, community partnerships, and fiscal responsibility. As our graduates walk across the stage tomorrow, they leave prepared to pursue one or more of the four E’s: Enrollment, Employment, Enlistment, or Entrepreneurship. Whether they are continuing their education, entering the workforce, serving our country, or building something of their own, we know the Class of 2026 will continue to make our community proud.
⚠️Reminder: As our playground safety project continues, please continue driving slowly and cautiously on campus. New fencing and gates are being installed around the playground and driveway area using preschool safety grant funding to help create a safer environment for students during the school day. We appreciate everyone’s patience, flexibility, and commitment to helping us keep student safety our top priority!
🚀You may notice another exciting project taking place on our football field! We are currently in the process of a major field overhaul that will help improve our facilities for students, athletes, and our community for years to come.
🚀This project is a great example of what makes Ridgedale special…community members, volunteers, and supporters who generously donate their time, energy, and hard work to make great things happen for our students. This project reflects the pride and teamwork that continue to move Ridgedale forward.
⚠️Please help us protect the progress that has been made by staying off the football field now and throughout the summer to allow the new grass plenty of time to grow. Thank you for your support and cooperation!
