The Marion Community Foundation Scholarship application is now OPEN! This year, the Marion Community Foundation will award approximately $500,000 across 160+ scholarships!

Sports schedule update: 1/20 No, JH basketball games for tonight 1/20. The rescheduled date for JH boys will be Thursday, 1/22 at 5:30pm in the HS gym. This will bump the Varsity girls game back to approximately 6:45pm. JH girls make up is to be determined once we hear back from USV. Varsity boys game vs. New Riegel tonight will still be played as scheduled. JH boys and girls basketball game with Elgin (make up) will be on 1/31 at 11am. JH boys will play in the HS gym. JH girls will be at Elgin.

BIG conference win by the Rockets over Temple Christian 52-47. Congratulations to the team, coaches, cheerleaders and pep band on a great night! What a fun halftime performance by our mini cheer camp girls and their cheer coaches! It was a wonderful performance!! Proud of our Rockets!! ❤️🩵

What an amazing experience for the Rocket Wrestlers at The Ohio State University wrestling dual vs. Indiana! A fun time was had by all. Thank you coaches for giving these kids this opportunity!

Rocket Winter Sports are showing a lot of success so far this season. Varsity/JV boys basketball both got wins last night against league opponent, Ridgemont. Varsity girls basketball defeated Ridgemont on Thursday evening. The JH boys and girls basketball teams both had wins last week!! Bowling continues to show success and will be competing in the final round of NWCC Bowling Tournament on 1/19. The wrestling program is improving daily!! Several wrestles had great success at Pleasant last Saturday!! We are proud of all of our athletes, coaches and cheerleaders/pep band members for their hard work and dedication to their activities. Thanks also to our community and fans who show up and cheer on our kids in all that they do!! Keep it up Rockets!! ❤️🏀🤼‍♂️🎳🎼🎉🩵

The 7th grade boys played hard but came up short against Allen East last Wednesday. After a close, back-and-forth battle, the 8th grade boys came up big and pulled off an exciting win!

🎳 Rocket Bowling Recap 🎳
The Rocket bowlers had a great battle in their matches against Galion!
✨Varsity girls’ bowling had an outstanding performance, earning a big win over Galion! Madeline rolled a high game of 179 and a high series of 346.
🎳Varsity boys’ bowling battled hard but came up short against Galion. Jayden led the way with an impressive high game of 277 and a series of 499.
⚫JV boys’ bowling also faced a tough loss, with Blaze posting a game high of 122 and a high series of 238.

During December’s Fueled Up Friday, students had the opportunity to meet with the 4-H Educator and take part in a team-building activity. 🍀

If they would like to learn more, get involved, or just have some fun, a 4-H Open House will be held at the Fairgrounds Coliseum this Wednesday, January 7th, from 5:00–7:00 PM.

This event is open to the public and is a great opportunity for youth and families to explore what 4-H has to offer.

Over break, Aiden and Jayden competed at Nationwide Arena during the Blue Jackets VEX Game Day Event. 🤖🏟️

They qualified 14th overall and advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament. We’re proud of their hard work, teamwork, and dedication to robotics and STEM!
