“Two-Point Touch Threshold” experiment helps students understand how nerve endings detect sensations differently across the skin due to varying receptor density. In groups, students used paper clips spaced 5mm to 50mm apart to test how close two touches can be before they feel like one, comparing results from different body areas.

If you are interested in the Fall 2026 D.C. trip, but you were unable to attend the meeting on 9-16-25, here's some info! Have your student stop by Miss Friermood's classroom to pick up a paper, or see the attached image. Those who attended the parent/guardian meeting or messaged prior to the meeting receive $50 off their trip price! This will be credited after initial payments are established as they go through the registration list check-in. Additionally, those who register by 9-23-25 receive an early registration discount!
